Interested in writing for TheShiznit.co.uk?
Although we have a handful of regular writers who create most of our output, we're always on the look out for new contributors. If you think you'd like to write for the site, then send an example of your work to the address below and we'll read every word. Try to stick to new cinema reviews if possible, or any feature ideas you might have. We won't steal your idea if we don't use it and writers will be fully credited, although we can't offer any payment for services just yet.

Want to see your movie featured on TheShiznit.co.uk?
At present, the only way the writers at TheShiznit.co.uk get to see movies is by paying for them at the cinema or buying/renting the DVDs and as such this means we're not always able to see every film we'd like to. If you work for a film studio in the UK and would like to see your film covered on the site, then get in touch at the address below. Invitations to press screenings would be ideal (especially if you lay on the sandwiches) and any review copies or check discs you're willing to send out could be sent back if requested. Conversely, and budding young or independent filmmakers can send in their films if they like, with the possibility of their work being featured in the future. We're not fussy, we'll take all the film you can throw at us.

The site is still in its infacy, but now we've launched this design, we will be displaying small, unobtrusive adverts eventually. Rates have not yet been decided, but we are open to suggestion. Email the address below if you're interested, but professional companies only for now, we don't particularly want to advertise blogs or MySpace pages.
